Simmu throat syrup is a syrup made from spruce sap and propolis .

Spruce has helped people against colds, rheumatism, as a medicine for wounds, he accompanies us in the most solemn acts. Spruce resin, growths, thorns are highly valued medicines. Spruce needles are used to make a vitamin drink and to obtain essential oil. Spruce needles are rich in ascorbic acid content (400 mg%), they contain iron, chromium, copper, aluminum and manganese salts, essential oils and tannins. The effect of the latter is antimicrobial, which is why spruce tea is used in acute or chronic respiratory infections.*

Propolis has been described by researchers as having antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting effects. Studies have shown that because propolis is high in flavonoids, it is used in the alternative treatment of wound infections. Several scientific sources have documented propolis the ability to fight upper respiratory infections.

In the composition of propolis, you can find a high level vitamin B complex and in significant quantities Vitamin C and beta-carotene .
