Product code: DJ05083 | Game: Mixed Family | Age: 6–99 years | Number of players: 2–4
Includes: 36 durable playing cards
🎯 Goal: Be the first to collect 3 animal families (either 3 cards with the same animal or 3 different animals in the same color).
Game setup: Shuffle the cards and deal 3 cards to each player. The remaining cards remain in the middle of the table as a draw pile, face down.
Gameplay: The youngest player starts. Player A asks one of the selected players (e.g. Player B) if he has a certain card (e.g. purple fox or green elephant).
• If Bl is the card asked, he gives it to A, who may ask again.
• If Bl doesn't have it, he says “Go fishing!” – A draws one card from the deck.
• If the card drawn is the one asked for, A says: “Lucky draw!” and continues asking. If not – “Bad draw!” and the turn goes to the next player.
🧩 “Family!” – When a player gets a total of 3 matching cards, they shout “Family!”, place them on the table and continue the game.
NB! You can only ask for a card if you already have a card of the same color or the same animal.
After a “bad draw”, a player may still lay out a family if it is formed. All families must remain visible on the board throughout the game.
If a player has no cards, they draw a new one. If the deck runs out of cards, the game continues without it.
🏁 End of the game: The player who collects first: wins.
• 2 players – 5 families
• 3 players – 4 families
• 4 players – 3 families
